Apache is an accredited member of the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF), which emphasises Apaches commitment to Management Best Practices in the areas of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality on each Project undertaken. We utilize the CCF’s Integrated Management System (IMS) as well as meeting all the stringent safety requirements of our clients.
Cable Hauling
One of Apache’s key areas of business is in the electrical and telecommunications industry. Apache install through various methods of installation thousands of meters of HV electrical cable and optic fibre cable for Aurora, Transend, Optus, Telstra and NBN Co. These works are performed state wide by Apache employees.

Our Equipment
Apache Services owns and operates an impressive fleet of equipment. We have the largest directional drill fleet in Tasmania including a brand new state of the art 4045 Astec Directional Drill. Apache also has a fleet of excavators ranging from 1.5t to 20t capacity with a range of attachments to suit. We also have our own fleet of trucks and support vehicles.
The Astec Earth Pro DD-4045 is the latest addition to the companies line up of drill rigs. The Astec offers more power & features than any competitive unit on the market. It provides the mobility & flexibility to fit into any job site in any environment. It 4045 offers 40,000 lbs ( 18.14 tonnes) of thrust and pull back and the machine weighs in at 9070 kgs and can deliver up to 158 metres of drill pipe.
Directional Drilling
Apache is acknowledged for its expertise in Horizontal Directional Drilling. HDD is ideal for installing pipelines and cabling in conditions where conventional open trenching techniques are not practical. These conditions include areas where surface disturbance is unfavourable or in areas that are unserviceable by open trenching.
